Shrouded in a familiar Autumn morning fog, week two of the 2025 season kicked off a little differently than usual. Ben Monteleone from Coever Coaching returned to Braidwood Junior Soccer to deliver two age-specific Player's Skills Clinics. Coach Ben and the Coerver team are passionate about providing opportunities for players to learn new techniques, increase player confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship.
All players received one programmed hour of COERVER® Coaching, delivered by Coerver® Coaching accredited coaches, COERVER® Coaching certificate and access to COERVER® home training program.
Our own Braidwood Junior Soccer coaches supported players to move through four skill stations further training our coaches with strategies and increased confidence to run drills with players.
It is with thanks to sponsorship from Community Bank Braidwood that all players were fully funded to access this fantastic opportunity! By investing in local coaches and players, our Club hopes to improve the opportunities available in Braidwood and keep Junior Soccer succeeding into the future.
Coever Coach Ben presented Jess D'Arcy from Community Bank Braidwood with a Coerver jersey as a token of their appreciation. Jess is a longtime supporter of the Club and coached the "Subbies" for 3 years as well as holding the title of President in previous years.
Our players enjoyed learning goal shooting techniques, footwork and were heard to be loudly cheering each other on throughout the session.
